As I mentioned above, lab tests are not reliable and accurate. The only reliable test is the written questionnaire by Dr. Crook. The only way to know for sure if one has Candida is by their symptoms. If someone has only a handful of minor symptoms and they can feel better with some minor changes in diet and a round of antifungals, then they probably don&#039;t have systemic Candida; it is probably restricted to their gut. On the other hand, if someone has a long list of severe symptoms and the only way they can keep their Candida under control is by constantly following a Candida diet, taking antifungals and probiotics, etc. then they probably have systemic.
