Tidbit Tuesday – Relieve Irritable Bowel with Diet

Significant improvements in irritable bowel can made with simple changes in the diet. Many people find relief by switching to an organic, whole foods diet that eliminates sugar, caffeine, white flour, pesticides, additives and preservatives and identifying their hidden food sensitivities.

Some of the most common food sensitivities to contribute to irritable bowel include wheat and dairy, however it can vary from person to person and be something like legumes and oatmeal.

Personally, I found great relief in my irritable bowel by avoiding all grains, especially wheat, and also cheese. The digestive tract of human beings was not designed to digest foods like grains, dairy and legumes and thus results in a variety of disturbances in the gut for many.
