Thank you.  I&#039;ve lived in the desert in California for the last six years where we have no trees like this, but I&#039;m from Ohio, so the thing I miss the most is the changing of the leaves each year. So every fall I have to find some beautiful images to satisfy my ache and this was one of them.  

When I lived in Ohio, I was an avid leaf watcher, so I knew a few things about the colors. I forget the exact explanation, but the color of the leaves is dependent on what the weather was like in the summer.  I think it was that if there were a lot of hot days or warm and sunny days and cold nights in the summer then the fall will be much more colorful.  If not, then the colors will be less bold and abundant.
